Australian Open

In 1997 Tennis Australia advertised for Massage Therapists for the upcoming Australian Open, I applied for this position and attended an interview with the resident Physiotherapist (Ivan) within two months I received the reply that I had not been selected and thank you for my application.

Life went on and approximately two years later in 1999 I was contacted by Tennis Australia and asked to resubmit my C.V. the rest is history I went on to work at the 1999 & 2000 Opens and even as I type this I am preparing for the 2001 Open.

I am proud to say that I was chosen for this position because of my C.V. and because of all the courses I had attended in the Massage and Exercise field and not because I had friends in high places.
