Employment
I worked for four months (May through Sept 1996) at the Life Be In It Gym
in Oakleigh as a Fitness Instructor (part time only). I resigned from this
position to do more coaching work (on a voluntary basis) with the V.I.S. (Victorian

I now work from my practice at home as a Massage Therapist/Strength & Conditioning
Coach/Fitness Adviser.
I worked for two and a half years part time in the clinic at Melbourne School

there January 98. I did this so as to have more time to pursue my career in
teaching and in my own practice.
In February 97 I started working at a sports medicine clinic in Waverley
(Waverley Road Sports Physiotherapy Centre P/L). I worked there two days a
week as a Remedial Massage Therapist. I saw a lot of diverse problems mostly
referrals from Doctors or one of the two Orthopedic Surgeons who work on the
premises. Due to other commitments I gave this job up in September 97.
In February 97 I started working two days a week at Monash Medical Centre
as a Remedial Massage Therapist, here I treated staff members i.e. Nurses,
Maintenance staff, Administration staff, Surgeons, Scientists, Doctors and
Specialists. I gave this position up in Feb 98 again to pursue my career in
teaching and in my own practice.
At the beginning of December 98 I started working at a Medical Clinic in
Dingley, I work there in the capacity of Remedial Massage Therapist with the
Physiotherapists, I used to see a lot of workcover clients (referred by the
in house Doctors) as well as private individuals. I gave this position up
